My problem is that if I exit the game, it does not save my progress and I have to start from the beginning. Is this a bug or 'user error'

Is it just me or are we missing the HiScore Screen?

Also it would be great to have an option to import ALL data (Handicap, HiScore etc.) from DC3 when installing DC3 XNA

On my setup (xp) everything is working even better than DC3..

Hi FredH,
yes, the highscores are not (yet) in the new version.
I am not sure if I should implement them again,
what do you think?

Importing handicaps should work better with the new beta v0.14

I really REALLY want the hiscore back! Im playing against a friend (and against my self) so i have to be able to brag about my skills in this great game.... ;o)

Ive been playing this game since the good old Amiga days and i actually have the very first game that Kingsoft made back in 1986 (i think i was 86)..

Thanks!

Hi Peter

Where is the link download for v0.13
DC3 XNA - public beta test main page has v0.9 link.
Is it the same?

Thanks

Hi

I'm a long time registered user of DC3 and I've recently reinstalled it and got all the levels and the latest version (3.2.0.13). My OS is Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit. My problem is that if I exit the game, it does not save my progress and I have to start from the beginning. Is this a bug or 'user error'?

Thanks and regards
Elaine

Hi Elaine,
do you have the problem that the new installation of DC3 does not remember your old settings/handicaps or does it not even save new progress (if you complete a new level with the new version)?
I am not sure about the first one (reading the config of the older version) but I just checked the second "problem" and on my installation everything works fine - the new handicap is saved and still there if I restart the game.
bye,
Peter
